Company Experience
The principals of Management Associates are CPAs and have extensive CFO experience.
For over 25 years, our principals have served many private and public businesses, primarily with a concentration in foodservice, retail and real estate management. We currently serve as members or advisors to several boards of directors.
We have over 15 years of experience in providing off-site accounting administration to multi-unit restaurants, large dinner houses and real estate management companies.

Douglas Napp, CPA - Founder and Principal
Doug began his career and spent five years with Price Waterhouse. He has served as Controller and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for some of the leading names in foodservice including Pea Soup Andersen's, Hungry Tiger, Numero Uno Pizza, and Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers. He is currently CFO for several multi-unit restaurant companies, real estate management firms, and office furniture retailers. He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and has lectured at California Lutheran University and UC Santa Barbara.

Scott Bogart, CPA - Principal
Scott started his career with the Santa Barbara firm of Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf after graduating with honors from San Diego State University. He founded his own practice on the idea that serious entrepreneurs require business associates (CPAs) who think like entrepreneurs. He has served hundreds of clients as CFO and accountant including over twenty multi-unit Kinko's retail entities. He has lectured at UC Santa Barbara and is a Certified Valuation Analyst.

Jeremy Iaccino, CPA - Chief Financial Officer
Jeremy spent the last five years with Ernst & Young after graduating with honors from St. Mary's College of California. He supervised the audits of national and international real estate companies including Arden Realty and Westfield America (commercial property owners), and Lowe Enterprises (hospitality and commercial property manager). He has served other industries as well, including biotechnology (Amgen) and design, engineering and construction (AECOM Technology and U.S. Filter Corporation).
